We all know that Microsoft has came out with a new voice assistant named CORTANA. This voice assistant is for now not available in India as it does not support Indian English accent. Microsoft said that Cortana will b available in India in Mid 2015 which is along time to come. So I came out with a way to make Cortana be available for Indian users as its pretty cool. You just need to follow some simple steps to make Cortana work for you.

1. Go to Settings, then click on Region. In Country menu,select United States, and leave       Regional Format at Match phone language. Restart your phone.

2. Again go to Settings, tap on Language. Select English (United States), and make it           default. Reboot.

 

3. Make sure that English (U.S.) is your first preference in language. 

    After all is set go to Speech in settings and click on Speech Language. 

4. Now you see a list of Speech language available. Go to English (United States) and click     on that. Your phone will start downloading that language package. When the download is     complete select English (United States) as your default speech language and press               the Search Button which is beside the Windows Button on the Bottom of your phone. 

    As you do that Cortana will fire up and it will take you through its first Installation.

 Go through that and your CORTANA is ready to be used. 

When all done say Help to Cortana and she will guide you through all her commands.
